Punjabi food is probably one of the most popular and loved cuisines in India. The spicy curries and super flavored kebabs. The crisp makkai ki roti and awesome saarson ka saag. There will be abundant restaurants with Punjabi food but as we all Mumabaikars know we still cant win with the Punjabi food served in Delhi. But now after tasting the utterly delicious food at Made In Punjab I think we might be in luck after all. So finally I can say we ( Mumbaikars) have our place for awesome kebabs and much much more at Made In Punjab a smart-casual dining restaurant which has recently opened in InOrbit Mall, Malad.
Situated in a huge and very busy mall in the suburbs on the top floor, the restaurant seems grand when you come out of the elevator. The decor is contemporary and chic giving it a very ” fine dining ” look. Now for the main event. The FOOD !!!
First and foremost we were served with this perfectly spiced mixed nuts and mint buttermilk shot which I actually wanted in a huge mug cause it was so yum !!!
Such great marination in this dish. The meat was so tender I cant even describe.
I usually dont use the term “melt in your mouth”. But for these delicious Sheekh Kebabs I will !
These is definitely in the top 5 items to eat at Made In Punjab !!!
This is the no. 1 dish here. This is a winner !!! Melt in your mouth absolutely delicious.

I am a dessert / pastry chef ( atleast I call myself that ) , so where ever I go I need the desserts to be perfect and this place has that !!!

Small delicate but filled with richness.
Finally evening ended with a lovely speech by Mr. Varun Puri who is the Vice President of Massive Restaurants.
So as you can see I absolutely loved the food here. Every dish is different and bursting with flavors. The talent and the love of food of the Chef is shown in every dish. I strongly recommend Made In Punjab for every occasion. Mr. Varun Puri said in his speech that this is second restaurant in 2 months. Well keep making such delicious and quality food coming and you may have 12 by the end of this year.
